We want your head spa experience to feel effortless from start to finish. Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions to help you prepare.

  • Come relaxed. You’ll be given the option to change into a Spa Wrap. You’ll be cozied up under covers on our warmed bed.

    • Services that offer a Scalp Oil, will offer a gentle bonnet drying, leaving the hair damp and there may be nourishing oils remaining on the hair that you’ll want to wash out at home. - We suggest waiting 24 hours to wash hair to allow the treatment to continue nourishing your scalp.

    • This is not a style or a full blow dry. Please plan accordingly.

    • You may purchase a turban from our retail store or you may bring your clean turban from home. We’ll gladly place it in a towel warmer for you wear home.

    • We are Licensed Estheticians and Licensed Massage Therapists. It is not in our scope of practice to shape or style your hair.

  • Yes, we require a 50% deposit to book a head spa service.

  • We suggest you wait at least one week after getting your hair colored before getting a head spa treatment, as the detoxifying process during a head spa could potentially lift your hair color if done too soon after coloring. If you've had any other chemical treatments like a perm or keratin treatment you must also wait at least one week.

  • We have a very natural product line. The products we use are crafted to nourish your scalp and hair using cold-pressed botanical blends. Their approach blends scientific expertise with inspiration from natural and traditional practices, fostering a culture of self-care and well-being. Intended to Balance and Restore the Hair & Scalp. The line is Dermatologist Tested, Hypoallergenic, Vegan, Paraben & Phthalate Free, Synthetic Fragrance-Free, Sulfate-Free, Free of Synthetic Dyes, No Animal Testing.

  • We use products that are scented with natural essential oils. We do our best to include alternatives when possible, but if you are highly sensitive to scents we suggest you choose our non wash/no scalp oils -The Emerald service or bring your own products.

  • We do have a some alternative offerings to accommodate allergies. If you tend to have a reactive scalp, you are welcome to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and face oils and we will gladly perform the service using your products.
