I have to say OMG!!! The Hidden Jewel is named appropriately - this place is a hidden jewel in Austin. I experienced their signature "Opal" Head Spa and it wa the best experience EVER!! My therapist was Ashley and I would highly recommend her any day and I look forward to scheduling with her again. I loved the whole experience but favorites were the warm scalp massage and the waterfall rinses - I was soo relaxed after my experience.

Licensed Massage Therapist
Ashley is a licensed massage therapist dedicated to helping clients relax, heal, and feel their best. Practicing since 2023, she brings a Lomi Lomi–inspired approach to her work, combining rhythmic, flowing massage with therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and myofascial release. With seven years of experience as a nurse’s aide, Ashley offers a deeply caring, client-focused approach grounded in compassion, attentiveness, and whole-body support.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Ashley has called Austin home since 2013. When she’s not in the treatment room, she enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, and spending quality time outdoors with her husband, son, and their dog.
Ashley is available for all Massage Services + The Emerald + The Opal Head Spa appointments on Monday, Thursdays- Saturdays from 10:30am - 4:45pm.

Alexis was my esthetician. she explained all the products and what she was going to do before we got started. the facial was amazing, it was the first time i did microcurrent and it was so relaxing that i fell asleep and finally a head massage which was also perfect.
after, she went over what i should be doing morning and night for my skin.

Alexis enjoys shaping and defining brows, lash lifts and tints and relaxing spa facials. She’s your go-to for the one of a kind, nervous system resetting Head Spa services. She has mentored with Shannon for over 2 years and has mastered art of educating her clients while offering wonderfully relaxing and results driven care!
The Ruby + The Diamond are her favorite services to perform, as they add a mini facial and the use of gua sha tools to hydrate and calm the skin.
Alexis has a special place in her heart for animals. For many years she worked as a vet tech, where she enjoyed loving on many sweet animals and offering stellar customer service!

"I’d been having issues with TMJ over the last few months and was just told to just massage my jaw at home from my doctor. When I saw they offered a specialized treatment at Hidden Jewel I booked immediately and I’m so glad I did! It’s a little awkward to have someone’s hands in your mouth but Shannon gave me the option to opt in or out of that part. I really wanted relief so she put some gloves on and got to work- let me tell you- it was 10x better after that. We did two treatments about a week a part and I got so much relief, it hasn’t bothered me much since! Highly recommended this treatment if you are suffering form TMJ"

Shannon studied massage therapy at the Healing Arts Institute in her hometown of Abilene, TX. She was raised in a family of two generations of Chiropractors, an Herbalist, and Massage Therapists. She understands the body and what is necessary to maintain a healthy and stress-free lifestyle. She has been a spa professional since 2003 and believes in providing only superior customer service.
Proficient in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Prenatal, Lymphatic Drainage & Aromatherapy. What she enjoys most about giving a massage is the ability to combine her scientific knowledge, creative energy, and her passion for helping people to be the most effective therapist. Her focus is to give individuals relief from pain and stress. She has a passion for educating and treating her clients.
In efforts to continue her education, Shannon studied Skincare at the Ann Webb Institute in Austin, TX in 2016. After personally suffering from cystic acne, she found a passion for results-driven skincare. She uses effective and natural skincare products that smell amazing and actually work! She continues to follow her passion in skincare by bringing in new technology and new products.
Under her profile Shann — you may schedule all facials, head spa and specialty massage services. Mondays noon - 5pm and Select Fridays + Saturdays.
Shannon has limited Table Massage availability for Table Massage - Tuesdays -Thursday 3pm-7pm and Select Fridays + Saturdays.
